FPUA Mainland WRF - Haskell

14,000 Cubic yards of concrete

The new Fort Pierce Utilities Authority Mainland WRF will have an 8 MGD average flow with a peak of 24 MGD. This can be increased to 30 MGD to accommodate future growth of the Fort Pierce service area. There are many benefits to relocating the sewer treatment plant off of Hutchinson island. A few of these benefits include potential to restore seagrass, eliminating the need to draw from the Floridian aquifer, and eliminating storm risk.
